One year later, Kraft Jacobs Suchard bought the traditional Dadák coffee factory in Valašské Meziříčí (Czech Republic). Today the company is a true leader in biscuit and chocolate production in both countries and with nearly 2000 employees, 450 products and 26 brands, one of the biggest players on the food market.

Since the integration with Opavia-LU in 2009, Kraft Foods produces a wide range of products in 5 factories. The history of Figaro factory in the Slovak capital Bratislava goes back to the 19th century when German confectionery company Stollwerck built a new branch there. They started with the production of candies and desserts, but soon chocolate took the lead in Figaro factory production and nowadays up to 35.000 tons of chocolate are produced in Bratislava. The main Kraft Foods facility for coffee production in this region is situated in Valašské Meziříčí, where Arnošt Dadák built his famous factory for coffee roasting in 1905. Today the factory produces 21.000 tons of roasted, grain and instant coffee, coffee PODs and coffee specialties per year. Opavia factory was named after the city of Opava, where the largest biscuit factory in the Czech Republic is situated. Another biscuit factory named Deli is located in the heart of the Czech Republic, not far from Prague. Both of them produce biscuits not only for Czech and Slovak markets, but also for other European countries. The last, but not least known Czech factory is in Marienbad producing the traditional Kolonáda spa wafers which are still very popular as a typical spa dessert and souvenir.
