Lawrence MacDougall

Lawrence MacDougall has extensive consumer goods experience in both confectionery and beverages.

He started his career at Unilever before joining Cadbury South Africa as Sales manager in 1982.  In the course of a varied career at the company, MacDougall worked his way up to Managing Director of the Southern African hub.

 In 2006 he successfully concluded the sale of the Beverages division and then the integration of the Dandy gum acquisition.  He was appointed to lead the Middle East and Africa (MEA) Business Unit (BU) in July 2007 and joined the Chief Executive Committee (CEC) the following year.

Following the global acquisition of Cadbury Plc by Kraft Foods Inc in February 2010, he was appointed as President Middle East and Africa for Kraft Foods South Africa.

In his MEA portfolio, MacDougall is responsible for Central and East Africa, the Gulf States (GCC), Mashreq, Morocco, South Africa, West Africa and new markets.
