What I do:
There is no predefined job description for what I do; my role is shaped by the current needs of the business. In general, I act as the liaison between our customer business team, the shopper insights team and our retail sales organization. I analyze, interpret, and share information that tracks how we are doing against our performance measures. I also look at trends in market share, distribution and merchandising to identify potential problems and propose solutions.
Why I love my job:
The sales analyst role has both breadth and depth. There is no such thing as a “typical” day. Whether it’s mining syndicated data to find the optimal product mix for a display, analyzing secondary data to predict economic trends and the implications for our businesses, or using qualitative data to help our customer, each morning provides a unique opportunity to drive our business forward and make the day delicious.
