The Finance Committee will be responsible for considering and making recommendations to the Board on the management of Kraft Foods financial resources and on major financial strategies and transactions.

The Finance Committee consists entirely of independent directors. Its responsibilities are set forth in the Finance Committee Charter (PDF). The Finance Committee met once in 2008 at its inaugural meeting.
