Corporate Reputation and Responsibility

  • The Carbon Disclosure Project commended us for our approach to climate change disclosure in 2010 – adding us to the Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index for the first time.
  • We were listed as a Maplecroft Climate Innovation Index Leader in 2010 for our efforts to use less energy, reduce waste and promote green work spaces.
  • Kraft Foods ranked 23rd in the 2011 Corporate Social Responsibility Index, based on a survey of consumers created by the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship and the Reputation Institute.
  • The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai awarded Kraft Foods China and China Youth Development Foundation the "Partnership Award" during their Sixth Annual Corporate Social Responsibility Conference.
  • Kraft Foods Slovakia received the "Ludský čin roka" (the best philantrophic act of the year) Award from the Humanitarian Council of Slovakia for our decade-long support of the Slovak Red Cross.
  • The Kraft Foods Philippines' FRESH (Future Resilience & Stronger Households) project was awarded Best Poverty Alleviation program as part of the 9th Asian Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Awards.

  • 100 Best Companies, "Working Mother" magazine -- 2011 for the sixth consecutive year and 10 times in the past 11 years. 
  • 100 Best Places to Work in IT, "Computerworld" magazine, third consecutive year -- 2010.
  • Top 50 Companies for Diversity, "DiversityInc" magazine -- 2010.
  • Top 50 Best Employers for Latinas, "Latina Style" magazine – 2011 (10 consecutive years).
  • Top Companies for Executive Women, NAFE – 2011 (fifth consecutive year).
  • We were ranked 38th out of 50 in the 2010 survey of Great Places to Work in India conducted by the Great Places to Work Institute.
  • Our business in India also ranked sixth in the Best Companies to Work For survey within the fast-moving-consumer-goods category, conducted by "Business Today" magazine.
  • In Brazil, we earned the Paulista Diversity Label from the São Paulo State Government for our inclusive workplace.
  • Kraft Foods Mexico is among the Best Places to Work, according to "Expansion" magazine and Top Companies, a firm that specializes in measuring organizational culture effectiveness.
  • The Reputation Institute's RepTrak Pulse Peru 2011 ranked us seventh in its list of companies with the best reputation in Peru. The ranking analyzed 53 companies, all of which were chosen based on their sales, familiarity and recognition among consumers.
  • Kraft Foods China was voted by "China Business Journal" and "Staffers Magazine" as one of the 50 Top Workplaces to Launch a Career.
  • Our business in Ukraine was ranked as a top company for leadership development by the Amplua Insights Ukrainian Centre for Research and Development.

Brands

  • Consumers ranked Kraft Foods fourth on "Forbes" magazine's list of the Top 100 Brands.
  • "Fast Company" magazine ranked Kraft Foods second in its list of the top 10 innovators in advertising and marketing.
  • Kraft Hockeyville received a Gemini Award from the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television.
  • Toblerone chocolate won its second consecutive Tambuli Award for the "Thank You Day Philippines Campaign."
  • In Mexico, Philadelphia Slices won the Bronze Effie Award for best advertising.
  • In Costa Rica, our marketing team won Effie Awards for excellence in campaigns promoting Halls candy, Tang powdered beverages and Royal gelatin.
  • Two of our Polish advertising campaigns earned Silver Effie Awards in 2010. The Valentine Milka "Love Grafitti" campaign and Prince Polo "Emo Pack," also known as the "Anything that's good you will find in Prince Polo" campaign.  
  • Our Kenco coffee brand's Eco Refill package and Toblerone Tobelle chocolates were voted Product of the Year by consumers in the UK in the non-alcoholic beverages and confectionery categories, respectively.
  • We also won several Tambuli Awards in the Philippines. The awards are sponsored by the University of Asia and the Pacific and recognize the business and societal values of marketing communications programs.
    •  Our Cheez Whiz processed cheese spread helped schools nationwide realize the importance of nutrition in 2010's Palamantasan ng Sarap, Sustansya at Saya. The program received two awards: Best Family Oriented Campaign (Silver) and Best Established Brand Campaign (Bronze). 
    • We earned two of the top three awards in the Best Small Budget Campaign Category.  Miracle Whip dressing's "Miracle Machine" captured everyone's hearts and won a bronze. And, the kid directors of our Tang Kiddie-Cine inspired young ones everywhere to realize their talent. The program earned a silver.
