Kraft Foods Foundation and Kraft Foods Poland Respond to Flooding 
June 8, 2010
– The Kraft Foods Foundation will donate $50,000 through the International Federation of Red Cross & Red Crescent Societies to support relief efforts for flooding in Poland. Kraft Foods Poland, together with employees, also will contribute donations locally.

Our Côte d’Or Brand Wins Award for Responsible Cocoa Farming 
May 26, 2010
– Our Côte d’Or chocolate brand broke new ground in supporting responsible farming practices – by becoming the first pan-European chocolate brand to carry the Rainforest Alliance (RA) Certified seal. Rainforest Alliance is an international conservation group that promotes sustainable farming, forestry and tourism in developing countries.  We began buying coffee from RA Certified farms in 2003 and added the purchase of cocoa in 2005.  Today, we’re the group’s largest buyer of coffee and cocoa.

Combined Company Response to Earthquake in China
May 14, 2010
– A 7.1 magnitude earthquake hit northwest China's Qinghai Province in April.  Although no employees or facilities were impacted, our combined China business was inspired to get involved.  Over several weeks, Kraft Foods and Cadbury employees worked together to hold fundraisers. This joint effort resulted in a nearly $25,000 donation to the local Red Cross.  The Kraft Foods Foundation will double the impact by making a donation to the International Federation of Red Cross.

Kraft Foods Responds to Flooding in Tennessee 
May 13, 2010
– In response to severe flooding in the state of Tennessee, US, and following an initial product donation valued at $35,000, Kraft Foods is sending a second trailer load of product to help families recover now that the American Red Cross has had more time to fully assess the situation.

Judges Melt Over Our Cheese and Relish Our Mustard in Global Contests 
April 23, 2010
-- In recent worldwide competitions, we had judges melting over our cheese and relishing samples of our Grey Poupon mustards. We picked up top honors in 10 categories at the 2010 World Cheese Championship Contest in Madison, Wisconsin, US.  Three of our cheeses – Polly-O fresh mozzarella and mozzarella whole milk and Philadelphia cream cheese – placed first in their individual groups.

Passionate Canadian Town Shoots … And Scores Kraft Hockeyville Title
April 13, 2010
– After bringing in more than one million votes in the Kraft Hockeyville 2010 competition, Dundas, Ontario, Canada, was declared this year’s most passionate hockey town. And Kraft Canada is awarding Dundas $100,000 to upgrade its local J.L. Grightmire Market Street Arena. That’s where the town will host a National Hockey League pre-season game in September.

Kraft Foods Foundation and INMED Partner to Alleviate Malnutrition in Brazil

-- INMED Partnerships for Children and the Kraft Foods Foundation are launching Health in Action (Ação Saudável), a school-based hunger and healthy lifestyles program designed to alleviate malnutrition in Brazil. Health in Action will bring simple and effective tools designed to reduce hunger and improve the health of kids from 5 to 14 years old in nine cities across Brazil. The Kraft Foods Foundation is donating $2.25 million over three years to the project, its largest single contribution in Latin America.

Kraft Foods Plans to Reduce Sodium in North American Products an Average of 10 Percent by 2012
March 17, 2010
– We announced plans to reduce sodium by an average of 10 percent across our North American portfolio over the next two years. This amounts to the elimination of more than 10 million pounds -- or more than 750 million teaspoons -- of salt from some of North America's most popular foods.

Kraft Foods Completes Sale of Pizza Business to Nestlé
March 2, 2010 – Kraft Foods completed the sale of our pizza business in North America to Nestlé.  About 3,620 Kraft Foods employees who work on the pizza business, as well as our manufacturing facilities in Little Chute and Medford, Wisconsin, have transferred to Nestlé as part of the sale.

Our Cheese Sparks Inspiration … And We Set a World Record
to Prove It

January 25, 2010 – About 10,000 people gathered on December 14 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, the Philippines, to watch us break a world record.  We successfully created “the most number of unique dishes with cheese on display in a single venue on a single day,” according to the Guinness World Record. Rows and rows of tables displaying thousands of dishes – 5,845 to be exact – were created by about 500 top chefs using our Eden Cheese.

Aid Sent to Haiti for Earthquake Relief Effort
January 13, 2010 – The Kraft Foods Foundation, along with Kraft Foods US employees, donated $500,000 to support the immediate and long-term relief efforts in Haiti.
