Charity Donation & Giving Back to Community

Since Kraft Foods started its operation in China in 1984, the company has been continuously making charity donation to help people and communities in need. Since 2005 alone, more than 25 million RMB has been donated in cash and foods to help people in need:

  • In 2005, donated RMB320,000 to Tianjin SOS Children’s Village.
  • From 2006 to 2007, donated RMB480,000 to Shanxi rural schools for nutritious lunch plan.
  • In 2007, donated RMB51,600 and Kraft Foods products valued at RMB5,000 to support Tibet Hope School programs.
  • From 2006 to 2010, donated RMB8,000,000 biscuits to the Training Bureau of State Sports General Administration of China to support the 29th Olympic Games and athletes training.
  • In 2008, donated RMB1,000,000 cash and Kraft Foods products valued at RMB3,000,000 to Sichuan Earthquake.
  • In 2009, Kraft employees & company donated RMB880,000 to build a Kraft Foods Care School in Sichuan earthquake region.
  • From 2008 to 2010, donated Kraft Foods products valued at RMB814,500 to Shanghai Charity Foundation.
  • In 2009, donated Kraft Foods products valued at RMB1,500,000 to China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation.
  • In 2009, donated Kraft Foods products valued at RMB300,000 to China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation to aid Yunnan earthquake relief.
  • In 2009, donated RMB5,500,000 to China Youth Development Foundation to build 100 Kraft Hope Kitchens.
  • In August, 2010, Kraft Foods China business partners donated RMB 1 million cash. Kraft Foods China donated 1 million Oreo biscuits to Kraft Hope Kitchen.
  • In Dec., 2010, Kraft Foods China donated RMB1,000,000 to CYDF to develop Kraft Hope Kitchen.
  • In 2010, donated Kraft foods products valued at RMB200,000 and RMB200,000 in cash to Yushu Red Cross to aid the Qinghai earthquake recovery.
  • In June, 2010, donated RMB200,000 Kraft Foods products to Jiangxi Fuzhou Red Cross aid the flood victims.
  • In August, 2010, donated 2,666 boxes of Kraft Foods products, valued at RMB260,000, the Gansu Zhou Qu Red Cross to aid in mud-slide victims.
  • In Nov., 2010, donated 105 boxes of Kraft Foods products to Shanghai Charity Foundation to aid Jin An District victims of building fire.
