Make a Delicious Difference Week
As a socially responsible corporation, Kraft Foods launched the “Make a Delicious Difference Week” charity initiative globally in 2009.
The initiative was designed to help eliminate hunger and promote healthy lifestyles among disadvantaged members of the community, through practical applications.
Operations of Kraft Foods in the United States, Canada, China, Brazil, Australia, Indonesia and 33 other countries volunteered in their communities in DDW in 2009. More than 500 Kraft Foods China employees from Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Guangzhou and Jiangmen volunteered in 2010 by walking into their communities to help more than 3,000 children in migrant workers’ schools, orphanages and Kraft Hope Kitchen schools, in an effort to bring a day’s delicious difference to these children’s life.
