Luca Zaramella was appointed Senior Vice President Finance, Kraft Foods Europe in August 2011, and is based in Zurich, Switzerland. He leads pan-European finance for Kraft Foods, managing the organization’s $12 billion European turnover.
Luca joined Kraft Foods in 1996 as part of the cheese business unit for Kraft Foods Italy, and has progressed through an international career in local, regional and global assignments. Prior to his current appointment, Luca was Vice President Business Controlling, Kraft Foods Europe. Previous roles include Finance Director, Kraft Foods Brazil, Director FP&A, Kraft Foods International, based in Northfield, US, and Director M&A, Tax, Treasury and Controlling, Kraft Foods Latin America.
Born in Cittadella, Italy, Luca graduated with honours in Business Administration and Finance from Ca’ Foscari University, Venice, having specialised in Economics. He has lived and worked in Italy, Switzerland, Luxembourg, the UK, the United States and Brazil.
