Chuck is responsible for RD&Q for the Coffee, Biscuit, Chocolate, Gum & Candy, and Cheese & Dairy / Grocery ABU’s in Europe. In this role he is responsible for strategic initiatives, identifying cross ABU opportunities, organization and people development, and representing RD&Q on the European Leadership Team. He has been in this Zurich, Switzerland based role since 2007. Chuck also serves on the Board for ILSI-Europe.
Prior to this role, Chuck led the RD&Q Group for the Convenient Meals Sector for 3 years. Major accomplishments of his Team included the creation the South Beach Diet products as well as launching a steady stream of successful new DiGiorno and CPK pizza products. At Oscar Mayer, Davis and his Team were responsible for the portfolio expansion of Deli Shaved meats, and the launch of Deli Creations complete hot sandwiches. In addition to their work on expanding the Back to Nature line of natural and organic products, Davis’ team has been instrumental in an ambitious reformulation effort on the Oscar Mayer Lunchables line to improve the nutrition without compromising taste or quality.
A Kraft Foods employee for over 30 years, Chuck previously held positions both domestically and internationally in the Coffee, Cheese and Dairy, and Refreshment Beverages Sectors, as well as leading a Global Strategic Research Group developing processes, ingredients, and packages of the future. Through his career Chuck has done cross-functional assignments in Finance, Operations, and Procurement.
Chuck received his B.S. in chemistry from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, his M.S. in food science from Rutgers University and his M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickenson University. He has also attended the Technology Management Development Program at the Kellogg Business School - Northwestern University.
