Career at a Glance
Romeo was appointed to his current role in 1st of November, 2010 and has spent much of his career in his native Brazil.
His first job in the FMCG sector was with Unilever where he spent six years in Sales. He joined Kraft Foods in 1995 as Sales Manager for Kibon, an ice cream business formerly affiliated to Kraft Foods, and progressed through a series of Sales roles to become Sales Vice President Kraft Foods Latin America in 2001 and General Manager Central America in 2003. He proceeded to take over the positions of Sales Director Kraft Foods Brazil at the same time as he served as General Manager North and Northeast Brazil in 2005. In 2008 Romeo started as Category Director for Snacks in Brazil and finally in 2010, with the acquisition of Cadbury, he also took the role of Integration Leader for Kraft Foods & Cadbury Brazil. In the end of 2010 Romeo was transferred to Europe to take up his present role in Madrid, Spain, as Area Director Kraft Foods Iberia.
