Our pioneering efforts include reducing our environmental impact at our production sites and our agricultural sourcing. And we’ve achieved much success with two programs in particular – our long-standing partnership with the Rainforest Alliance for cocoa and coffee and our LU'Harmony program for our wheat resources. We also use Rainforest Alliance-certified coffee and cocoa beans to make several of our major brands, including Jacques Vabre, Carte Noire and Côte d’Or.
In addition, as it is a key topic for us, our consumers and our stakeholders, we’re dedicated to promoting good nutrition and healthy lifestyles for consumers in France. We’ve been working to reformulate our products to reduce salt, fat, sugar and trans fats. We also support the Sport Foundation for “Bien Manger, C’est bien joué! / Eat to Compete” program to promote healthy lifestyles for teenagers.
Feeding the hungry is another top priority for us. Our long-term partnership with the national Food Banks supports many activities, including product donations, volunteer training and funding for kitchen facilities.
