As a leader in Sweden’s food industry, we are proud to produce several top brands, like Gevalia coffee and Marabou chocolate, which have become staples in kitchens across Sweden.

Swedes really enjoy their coffee and each drinks about nine kilograms a year. And they regularly enjoy our flavorful, rich coffee brand Gevalia we’ve been brewing up since 1920.   

And since 1916, we’ve been making life a bit sweeter for lots of consumers here with our iconic Marabou chocolates.  In fact, you might just hear them express their delight with the popular phrase “Mmm… Marabou.”

Our experienced and diverse team of approximately 800 employees is dedicated to producing many tasty products for Swedes to enjoy at snack time, meal time – or any time. And they enjoy a creative and supportive work environment that encourages career development and excellence.

Our main office and chocolate manufacturing facility are located in Upplands Väsby and Stockholm. And our coffee plant is based in Gävle, which inspired the name of our popular Gevalia brand coffee.

We're strongly committed to community involvement. Our employees take part in many activities to help those in need as part of Kraft Foods annual “Delicious Difference Week,” a week dedicated to volunteering in our communities around the world. During the 2010 edition, employees raised money which, combined with company funding, helped build a school in the village of Dramanekro, Ivory Coast, a country from which we source a big part of our cocoa. The new school, located near local farming villages, offers local kids a better opportunity to attend school rather than work on the farms.

And we regularly look for ways to reduce our impact on the environment. So we work in partnership with organizations like the Rainforest Alliance, and Terracycle, an organization which takes would-be waste that is challenging to recycle and turns it into affordable, quality goods.
