Our rich, delicious history dates back to 1826, when one of our pioneering founders – Philippe Suchard – began creating his velvety Suchard chocolates.  Since then, our growing mix of tasty products like our aromatic Tassimo coffees, buttery Tuc crackers and creamy Philadelphia cheese have won the hearts – and appetites – of consumers across Switzerland.

And for more than 100 years, we’ve been cooking up our world-famous, triangle-shaped Toblerone chocolates at our manufacturing plant in Bern. A true Swiss icon, every piece of our scrumptious Toblerone chocolate is produced there, where we also host our annual “Schoggifest” (chocolate festival). And devoted skiers enjoy the Toblerone-sponsored annual ski race weekend held in Adelboden.

Our employees proudly market many tasty products and iconic brands, including Stimorol, which is the number one gum brand in the country.  And we are proud to rank  number 2 in coffee, chocolate drinks and cream cheese segments. 
 
Located in the Glattpark business district in Zurich, our office location has been nicknamed “The Lightcube” because of its unique glass construction.

Our ties to local communities run even deeper as our employees enjoy spending time giving back.  They regularly volunteer in many community activities, including working with the country’s main food bank Tischlein deck dich, supporting at-risk youth, and participating in many volunteer activities as part of Kraft Foods global “Delicious Difference Week” every year.
