Coffee

Brewing up delicious in so many ways
From a dark, rich espresso enjoyed mid-morning … to a creamy latte savored in the afternoon … to a light roast decaf sipped for pleasure after dinner. No matter how you prefer your coffee, we have just the right choice to satisfy.
Carte Noire is the leading premium coffee brand in France, while Germans favor the iconic Jacobs brand and in Sweden Gevalia is the strong market leading brand. In the UK, consumers fancy our Kenco brand, thanks to its smooth flavor – and the positive impact the brand has on coffee farmers and the environment.
European consumers have been taking pleasure in our flavorful coffee brands, from Gevalia, to Grand' Mère, from Café Hag to Mastro Lorenzo, for well over 150 years. And they’ve made us the number one coffee company in Europe today.
We offer a wide range of flavourful roasts and varieties as well as brewing options, like single service capsules, Soft pods, Whole bean coffee, soluble coffees and ground roast coffee.
And because no two coffee drinkers are alike, we created our unique Tassimo on-demand beverage system, which lets European consumers brew single servings of their favorite coffee flavors and brands, like Carte Noire, Jacobs Kroenung, Gevalia, and Mastro Lorenzo. In the comfort of their home, Tassimo fans can enjoy a wide range of hot beverages, together with their friends and families.

From crop to cup … and beyond
From the coffee bean farm, to our manufacturing plants, to consumer disposal of packaging, we’re looking for ways to reduce our impact on the environment. We strive to create a seamless chain of trust amongst all who touch our coffee – to protect and champion the pleasure of this great beverage now and in the future.

We’ve been a pioneer in sustainable coffee production for many years. Since 1993, we’ve helped develop coffee sustainability. We are the world’s largest buyer of coffee from Rain Forest Alliance Certified farms.  We started working with The Rainforest Alliance, an international leader in sustainable farming practices, in 2003 and our Kenco coffee is now made with 100 percent Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee beans. In soluble coffee, we’re proud to offer consumers our well recognized Eco-refill packaging, which uses 97 percent less packaging than glass jars. And in the UK and Sweden, we have successfully formed a partnership with TerraCycle to collect and recycle our Tassimo T-Disc. TerraCycle is an innovative “upcycling” company that collects difficult-to- recycle packaging and turns them into fun and innovative products, like re-usable tote bags and umbrellas.
